International Executive MBA

Why us
-
The highlights of the UCL MBA for me included the possibility of combining work and study (classes on Friday and Saturday) and the opportunity to
experience first hand local issues on a global scale (study trips). The small class size allowed us a greater interaction with the other students
and also the teachers. The teachers come from a wide range of countries and backgrounds, enhancing the learning experience.

The international aspect of the MBA and its specific format were the key drivers in my decision to enrol. I really appreciated being in a program
with people from diverse backgrounds in which all learning experiences were directly applicable in my day-to-day work.

There are two major points distinguishing this International Executive MBA : the multicultural program featured with trips to important emerging countries,
and courses aimed to develop leadership and entrepreneurship in order to reach top level management. In today's business world, I felt the necessity to sharpen
knowledge in those fields, with top quality teaching staff and highly experienced classmates.

As a lawyer, following an MBA program is gaining experience in a new field with a specific view on excellence in business. It helps me to attain a better comprehension
of human relations in the international business and leads us to manage "basing oneself on facts and events and using this to evolve together without causing any further damage".

Getting an International MBA is a must when studying Management Engineering. The commitment of Louvain School of Management to send us to Eastern Europe, China and Latin America
really meets my goals. Indeed, it reflects the current need of learning more about international trade and the opening of markets around the world. It also helps me to gain
know-how and business ideas to successfully run all sectors of my company.

One of the assets of this MBA is to make you understand what really matters in business and how companies can achieve great success or fail completely because of different
organizational structures or mindset towards innovation and HR. That knowledge provides you with a key competitive advantage. Such skills are the only way to keep our
competitiveness with emerging countries such as China. For me, the China business trip was the most interesting one because it makes you understand the speed of development
happening in these countries.

In a first stage, you think an executive MBA makes you see your function or your company from another angle by acquiring new knowledge and techniques. But soon you discover
theoretical and practical 360° coverage of your business; you get the time to think about it, to explore new ways to manage it, and even to develop it. But the LSM MBA
brings you even more: by sharing practices with experienced executives from different horizons and by studying on different continents, it enables you to have a hand on
other business cultures and ascertain how other managers and organizations are performing.
