International leaders should be in touch with the main organisations supporting the internationalisation of business. From the start, you will have access to the services of the Walloon Export and Foreign Investment Agency (AWEX) and of the International Marketing Department of the Walloon Business Federation (UWE). These organisations will help you study specific topics for your in-company project, prepare study trips, discuss export financing, etc. During the study trips, AWEX local representatives will ensure access to practical business situations and organize real economic missions.

AWEX is the body of the Walloon Region of Belgium in charge of promoting foreign trade and attracting foreign investment. In its foreign trade capacity, it gathers, processes and distributes a wealth of information intended for both Walloon businesses and foreign companies. Via SOFINEX, a joint subsidiary set up with SOWALFIN, the Agency provides enterprises with several export financing tools.

Offering complementary services, the International Marketing department of the Walloon Business Federation aims at promoting exports for small and medium-sized Walloon companies with the support of multinational groups, leaders in their sector.
